Registration

To become a user of the library, a citizen of the Czech Republic or of another country, older than 15 years presents a valid identity card. Institutions are provided with the borrowing services within the interlibrary loan service (ILL).

Registration Rules

To register a user must present a valid ID card (identity card / passport / visa), must be presented, the applicant must fill in the Application form and the User Declaration. The user shall not have any financial obligations or any other obligations in kind towards the library. By signing the “Declaration” the user agrees to observe all provisions of the Library Regulations in force, including the obligation to pay late returning fees and to pay for the loss and damage of the borrowed library units.

Internal Users students, teachers, employees of VŠE
  multifunctional identification card registered for library services
  validity of registration 1 academic year
  yearly renewal of the registration – 20 CZK
  maximum number of outside loans - 20
External Users students, experts
  user’s card – type B, issued by the reception at Žižkov (for outside loans only, EDD)
  user’s card – type D – chip card – issued by the ID cards office of the Computer Centre – (outside loans, access to all libraries, copying, internet, EDD)
  validity of registration 1 year from the date of registration
  yearly renewal of the registration – 40 CZK
  maximum number of outside loans – 10
Card for single entry for the visit to the study room only
  validity 1 day
  price 50 CZK + 250 CZK refundable deposit for the borrowing of the chip card
  cannot be used for outside loans
  can be used for copying
